a message from dr. robert waldman
I wanted to let all of my valued and loyal patients know that I am retiring effective July 25th. This is indeed a bittersweet decision. It has been a pleasure and a privilege taking care of your eye care needs over the years. I have received a tremendous amount of satisfaction and joy getting to know you all and your families. In some cases, I am even caring for the eye heath needs of three generations within a family. The personal connections that I have formed with all of you over the years have been very meaningful to me.
I also want to thank all the staff that has assisted me over the years. Without their help, we could not do what we do. We have tried to create a friendly caring environment where you can feel very comfortable, yet confident that your needs will be taken care of. This has been a collective effort of myself and the great people that have worked with me.
Now, with my retirement, we have also decided to retire Erie Optical. It will now be merging with our partner practices Family EyeCare Clinic in Painesville and in Mentor, OH. Although we will be merging practices, our incredible service and care for our patients will remain the same. I have the utmost confidence in my colleagues and their abilities to care for all of your eye health needs as I have done over the years.
Best of wishes to everyone, and I hope to run into some of you down the road. Thank you for trusting me with your eyes for over 50 years.
